KEY QUESTION: What do you do when you feel like your life is falling apart?
QUESTIONS:
- Have you ever felt like life has closed in around you? What were the circumstances?
- Have you ever felt forgotten in your family, work, elder years?
- Look at this illustration and imagine how Joseph must have felt as he moldered in prison year after year. How might you have felt if you were him?
- What questions have you asked yourself during dark days?
- As you look back at your life, how have you seen God work through tough circumstances?
- How was he working behind the scenes of your life?
- How do you think God might be working behind the scenes in your life now?
TOGETHER IN PRAYER & ACTION
- Pray for each other to accept the dark days and believe God is working.
- Make a list of how God has worked to your benefit in the past.
- Look for ways God is working right now in your life.
