Most of us feel the joy of parenting and simultaneously feel like we are in survival mode. This event is designed to help us learn how to thrive when all we think we can do is survive. The event and childcare for Birth-Grade 4 begin at 6pm. Hors d’oeuvres will be served for adults, with light snacks for the kids.

Read Ephesians 6:5-9 aloud together as a group.
KEY QUESTION: How do we obey with our hearts/souls, not just our actions?
- How can we bypass focusing on the tough circumstances in our lives and move right to trusting God?
- Have you ever known a brown-noser? How did that person’s actions make you feel?
- Regarding your work, did you simply make money or did you make a life too?
- What is the difference between the two? Where are you now on that continuum?
- What do you think Eugene Peterson meant when he said, “ease into your God-called work?”
- Where do you fall on the 6 Stages of Personal Power grid: Powerless, Power by Association, Power by Achievement, Power by Reflection, Power by Purpose, Power by Wisdom?
- How does this passage that speaks of slaves and masters apply to our lives today?
