1829 Encounter Glacier Wilderness Trip!

How do you put into words the majesty of the Rocky Mountains, the beauty of a starlit night, or the feeling of being more fully alive having just caught a glimpse of a grizzly or a wolf? Wonder! It is the great privilege of our 1829 family to discover and recover the wonder of God through His awesome creation this summer and we hope you will consider joining us.

The Glacier trip is a backpacking trip that will explore and experience the beauty of the Bob Marshall Wilderness (just south of Glacier National Park) for 5 days and finish the trip staying 2 nights in Glacier National Park. For our hiking – we will break into groups of around 12 and trails will be moderate to challenging – demanding that you prepare physically as well as spiritually.

We look forward to unplugging in order to hear from God, as we study His Word together, to bonding as we share this adventure, to growing as we are stretched in every way, and to rich times of worship as we experience the glory of our Creator.
