World Orphans
By partnering U.S. churches with Guatemalan churches, World Orphans aims to equip, inspire, and mobilize local churches to build deeper relationships with at-risk families within their communities. Through World Orphans, Magnify partners with Tabernaculo, a church in Guatemala City and annually sends a group of committed volunteers to serve the church and Pastor Salvador. These volunteers learn from and encourage Tabernaculo’s mission of spreading the hope of Jesus locally and globally.
Tim & Andrea Blazer: Brazil
Tim and Andrea Blazer are Magnify members serving just outside of Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil. Their primary ministries include planting churches, teaching in local and international seminaries, partnering with an orphanage ministry, and developing a church planting training center. They have planted multiple churches in Brazil.
Mel Boerema: Alberta Canada
Mel serves with NAIM and the Piikani people who are part of the Blackfoot Confederation.
Dan and Carol Cook: Recife Brazil
Dan works at Camp Paradise in Recife, Brazil. This is a camp that ministers to elementary through high school age kids. They also train young adults in Christian Leadership and Discipleship. Dan also represents and trains for Good Soil in Brazil. He works to support a church plant in the outback of Brazil.
Tim & Michele George: Mozambique Africa
Tim and Michele are in Mozambique with Serving In Missions where they are involved in training national pastors with the Yao people. Tim and Michele have four children.
Tim and Rebecca Hawkins: United States
Tim and Rebecca provide care to pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders serving globally and locally with Standing Stone Ministry.
Jeff & Joyellen Hazard: Kenya Africa
The Hazards served with Africa Inland Mission at Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe, Kenya. They are wrapping up their ministry in Kenya and relocating to the USA.
Andrew & Suzanne Heyd: Central Asia
Andrew has been a member at Magnify since 2006 and has served as a deacon at our church. Andrew and Suzanne work to strengthen the church in Central Asia by training and mentoring leaders in their study of God’s Word and in prayer in order to see a healthy, mature and flourishing church that makes disciples across ethnic and geographic boundaries in Central Asia.

Steve & Sue Mayo: Australia
Steve and Sue lead ABWE’s church planting teams in the Asia Pacific region from their base in Sydney, Australia.
Ben and Celeste Mills: Israel
Ben and Celeste have been serving the Peniel Fellowship of Tiberias for over 30 years, specifically through the Peniel Learning Center, the first Messianic elementary school in Israel.
Bob & Patty Nosker: South America
Bob & Patty have been working with the Pemon Indian Tribe since 1974. In 2012 Bob and Patty left South America due to the political unrest and are now doing translation and teaching work with the Pemon via the internet. They continue to work with nationals, Pino and Rosa, helping them with Bible translation and evangelistic outreach.
Chad & Marlana Smith: Guatemala
Chad & Marlana are serving with World Orphans and are based in Grand Rapids, MI. Chad is the Country Director for World Orphans Guatemala where they seek to equip, mobilize, and encourage the local Church to care for orphans and vulnerable children and their families. They call it orphan-prevention or family preservation. Chad’s roles include influencing organizational structure, vision casting and implementation of new programs and leadership development and discipleship of national leaders. Marlana serves as the Director of Communications for Guatemala and also mentors and disciples the women on their team.
Josh & Sara Whitman: Imola Italy
Josh & Sara both grew up in Italy and have planted a church in Imola. They are working with youth and family outreach programs as well as training Italians to reach Italians.

Jonathan & Hannah Victor: India
Jonathan & Hannah are national missionaries with Bibles International and Baptist Mid-Missions. Jonathan works as a consultant: checking Bible translations and taking part in translation workshops. Hannah teaches children in the local schools. They also have a Bible Study in their home.
Dr. Hikmat Kashouh, Resurrection Church: Lebanon
Since 2008, Rev. Dr. Hikmat Kashouh has led Resurrection Church through many blessings and challenges, focusing on disciple-making and serving those in need. Resurrection Church has been transforming its direct community, spreading the Gospel throughout Lebanon, modeling plurality of leadership in the Arabic-speaking world, and impacting many lives both physically and online. He and his wife, Krista, live in Lebanon and have three children.
Bob and Sandy Hanna: Venezuela (stationed in the USA)
Bob and Sandy have an online ministry providing Bible study materials for small groups, as well as teaching pastors and church leaders online how to study the Bible.

Leland and Marcia Hovingh
Leland & Marcia served with Africa Inland Mission in Kenya since 1976. In April 2007 they returned home to Michigan. They are now building relationships with Africans living in the Grand Rapids area.
Larry & Bev Smith: Kettering, OH
Larry & Bev have been missionaries with ABWE since 1964 and have served the Lord in Chile, Mexico, Nicaragua and Canada. In mid 2007 they returned to the states for semi-retirement. They currently serve in a ministry with ABWE in Cuba.

Grand Rapids, MI – Larry & Pat are retired missionaries from Baptist Mid-Missions. They are active in outreach and elderly care in their home church at our Northview Campus.
