Italy SERVE TRIP 2026 – Summer English Camp

Save the Date – June 12-22

Do you love serving children? Are you interested in seeing how God might use you in another culture to impact the lives of the next generation and their families. Magnify is excited to offer the Italy Serve Trip to Imola, Italy to work with our global partners, Josh and Sara Whitman. Join us this summer as we run an English Camp and Bible Club for Italian elementary children in central Italy. As this will draw many from the community who are eager for their children to learn and practice English, it’s a beautiful way to come alongside the Whitman’s, our partners in Italy, to make purposeful connections. We will bring with us an already-developed program, and plan it and execute it together as a team. While there, we will also fellowship with Josh and Sara’s church plant, Chiesa La Rocca for Sunday services, see some of the historical sites nearby, and enjoy the area.

Guatemala SERVE TRIP 2026-Church Partnership Trip

Save the Date – March 19-24

Magnify is excited to offer the Guatemala Serve Trip to Guatemala to work with World Orphans and our partner church there, Tabernaculo. We will be building a stronger relationship with Tabernaculo’s pastor, Salvador and his wife, Irma and their church, seeking to encourage them in their task of serving those most vulnerable in their communities. We will do this through an intentional and relational itinerary, encouraging them even as they encourage and inspire us to go into our own community and love our neighbors and those around us.

Italy SERVE TRIP 2026- Thanksgiving Serve Trip

Save the Date – November 20-30

Magnify has a unique opportunity to come alongside our partners, Josh and Sara Whitman in Imola, Italy. Our team will work with their church, Chiesa LaRoca in Central Italy to prepare and serve American Thanksgiving meals. This will draw many in Imola interested in knowing more about this American tradition, and will serve as a great bridge for Josh and Sara into their community. We’re looking for servant hearts, hands willing to cook feasts for many, and a sacrificial giving of time and energy. While there, we will also fellowship with Josh and Sara’s church plant, Chiesa La Rocca for Sunday services, see some of the historical sites nearby, and enjoy the area.

Italy SERVE TRIP ‘25

Thank you for praying for the 2025 Italy Team and the Whitmans!

The team traveled to Imola, Italy to serve our global partners, Josh and Sara Whitman and their family. During the week, they got to volunteer at the first week of English Camp for youth at the Whitman’s church, Cheisa La Rocca. The team was able to support, and learn from the Whitman’s as well as the people whose lives have been changed because of the Whitman’s faith and hard-work. Please continue to pray for the Whitman’s and their ministry, as they grow their church in Imola!

Malawi SERVE TRIP ‘25

Our team traveled to Malawi, Africa, to serve our global partners, Tim and Michelle George, and their family. For the first week, we served local missionaries at their biennial conference, which allows people to gather together, be poured into, and be refreshed. Our team provided teaching for adults, teens, and children, as well as worship, snacks, fun games, and activities. The second week, we traveled to Mozambique so we could experience a little taste of what life is like for the George’s at home and at their Bible school, Intel Theological Institute. We were also able to interact with the soccer camp that is run there and visit their local church. The George’s are a blessing to their community; we ask for prayers as they continue to bring the Word to the local people.

Guatemala SERVE TRIP ‘25

Thank you for praying for the Guatemala Team’s trip that took place in May.

In conjunction with World Orphans, the team went to serve our partner church, Tabernaculo in Guatemala City. They were able to meet, learn from, and encourage church members as they saw first hand the church’s thriving ministry of serving those most vulnerable in their communities. Please keep praying for Tabernaculo church and their Pastor, Pastor Salvador, as they continue to be the light of Jesus in Guatemala.

Refugee Resettlement

Aligning with God’s heart for the stranger, Magnify small groups and volunteers help welcome refugees being resettled in the Grand Rapids area. Many opportunities to serve include donating household items, helping find housing, providing transportation and just being a friend to precious families fleeing difficult circumstances abroad.
