We’re so excited to jump into our new series “Right in God’s Eyes” where we’ll seek to help us all better understand what it means to think, believe, speak, and act in ways that are in line with God’s best for humanity.
This series continues our annual cycle of thinking about worldviews in light of Christ’s teachings and Christian thought.
We’ll be focusing less on the moral and ethical specifics within hot button issues (i.e. abortion, limits of governmental powers, etc.) and more about our moral compass and being sure we’re being conformed to God’s ways.
Each week we’ll post the Handouts of the week ahead of time to give you time to consider the issues that will be brought up in the weekly teaching. We’ll also continue to dig deeper into each week’s topic through our podcast. Lastly, we’ll provide additional resources for you to consider as we get into the study.
Men, as we seek to help you Live Your Mission, we pray the same could be true of us as Paul instructed of the Corinthians:
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. (2 Cor. 10:4-6)
