📖     DEVO:  Psalm 100

🧠    MIND CHALLENGE: Read the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Federalist Papers (especially 10 and 51).

❤️    HEART CHALLENGE: Reach out to 3 buddies you haven’t talked to in a while to check in.

  • Offer up prayer.
  • Consider follow-up to past conversations.
  • Offer an encouragement specific to that man.

 

💪🏻    STRENGTH CHALLENGE: Drink lots of water and Repeat Week 1 Challenge: Workout 4 days this coming week.

It’s going to be a hot week. Prioritize hydration and keep moving toward becoming fitter.

Get sharp at increasing your work capacity across broad time and modal domains.

🧠    MIND CHALLENGE:

Wk1: Pick one Bible verse or passage to memorize this summer.

Wk2: Read a Gospel.

Wk3: Do a Bible Word Study.

Wk4: Read 30 minutes daily.

Wk5: Read two (or more) of the following and write a reflection on one of them: “Man in the Arena”; “Stay on the Anvil”; “If-“; “Those Winter Sundays”

Wk6: Read a Psalm a day.

 

❤️    HEART CHALLENGE:

Wk1: Pray with your wife (or a close brother in Christ) once a day.

Wk2: Read Scripture to your kids x3.

Wk3: Write a letter to someone to let them know you care.

Wk4: Reach out each day to someone different to pray for.

Wk5: Make or Buy something for someone that you know would be meaningful and bring it to them as a gift.

Wk6: Plan to spontaneously serve or meet someone’s need this week.

 

💪🏻    STRENGTH CHALLENGE:

Wk1: Hit the gym, trail or track and workout 4 days this week.

Wk2: Do some weightlifting x2

Wk3: Try a new sport or exercise.

Wk4: Fast once this week.

Wk5: Go far: go over 20 miles this week on foot (walk, hike, run), in water (swim, kayak), and/or bike.

Wk6: Perform 1,000 (or whatever is a difficult but doable number would be for you) push-ups this week.
