Hills of Harran Curriculum
At Kids at Magnify, our curriculum is called Hills of Harran: The Gospel’s Pilgrimage Alongside Children. In Scripture, God spoke to Abraham on the Hills of Harran, promising that he would become the father of a great nation. That same God who journeyed with Abraham long ago and made a covenant to love him and his family forever is still with us today. We believe deeply in who God is and in His work within your home and family.
Through storytelling and hands-on experiences, we invite children into God’s great rescue story: the journey of the Israelites that ultimately points to Jesus and the good news of the gospel reaching the ends of the earth. Our hope is that children will not only enjoy the wonder of this story, but also begin to recognize its truth echoing in their own hearts.
We share this rescue story by:
- Immersing children into the story as it is told
- Engaging the senses along with fine and gross motor skills
- Creating opportunities for meaningful, in-the-moment interaction with leaders who genuinely care about your kids
- Using the motif of the red thread throughout lessons and activities to remind children that the blood of Jesus is our source of rescue and redemption
We believe in the beauty of the household story and know that God is present with your family. It is a joy to walk alongside you as parents and caregivers. Every child is welcome here, and we desire for each child to experience the love of God through meaningful connection with trusted volunteers.
We are committed to partnering with families through some of our favorite ministry touchpoints, including Sunday evening teaching, Child Dedication, Parent Connect events, and special opportunities for children to join their families in worship services throughout the year.
