30 Days of Praying for Adopted, Foster and Vulnerable Children
Prayer is the slender nerve that moves the muscle of omnipotence. Charles Spurgeon

Reasons we pray:

  1. Deepen our personal relationship with the Lord, “Our Father who art in Heaven, Hollowed be thy name”
  2. To bring His will down to Earth. “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Why Pray Scripture? No one can argue with the Word of God - not even Satan.
( Jesus’s example in the wilderness - Matthew 4:1-11)
The word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. Psalm 18:27-31

Day 1 The Great Commission
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28: 19,20

Our Father, I pray for families to be moved by your Spirit to bring children into their households in order to share the Great Commission with them - always making disciples and sharing the “mystery of Christ” with these children- HIs unconditional forgiveness. Also I pray the families, with help from the Holy Spirit, will be able to equip their children to go forth and share the gospel as they themselves grow into adolescence and adulthood. Romans 10:15, Luke 19:10

Thank you for all your involvement and care for children from hard places.
Lesley Zainea
