Hearing God’s Voice in 1 Thessalonians
When: Tuesdays, June 22-July 27, 7-8:30pm
Where: Magnify Northview
The Apostle Paul wrote this letter to the Thessalonian church with the goal that they would continue to grow in godliness. He sought to motivate them by encouraging them with the reality of the ultimate return of Jesus Christ and inspiring them to walk in the power of God’s Spirit. Paul’s words provide practical instruction and application to our current circumstances and provide hope in the midst of suffering or uncertainty.
In this study we will focus on 1 chapter of 1 Thessalonians each week, journaling answers to 5 questions that will help you hear the word of God to you for personal application.
Each week there will be small group discussion and sharing your discoveries from the questions. A journal and the list of questions will be provided and will be available for pick up prior to the study.
*Note the first week of homework will need to be completed in advance of the first meeting.
