Women’s Life Fall Study
Winter 2021 Study Options
All women are invited to join us as we join together to study God’s Word. No matter where you are on your journey with God, we encourage you to take a step of faith and register for a study today.
Every week we evaluate what we believe is best for our church during this pandemic. As changes happen in our community, we will allow those changes to inform our decision making. We will only meet with our small group. We ask that you wear a mask into the building and as you move around until you are seated in your small group area.
When: All studies begin the week of January 10 and end the week of March 21

1 Peter – A Living Hope in Christ by Jen Wilkin
Our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers’ true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ. Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ guide the study of 1 Peter as participants are challenged to read the book in its entirety each week. Each week will also feature video teaching by the author as well as small group discussion of daily homework.

Me, Myself and Lies by Jennifer Rothschild
We talk to ourselves all the time. We evaluate everything we do, comparing ourselves to others, and even call ourselves names. We disparage who we are instead of telling ourselves the truth about who God says we are.
Me, Myself, and Lies deals with our destructive, unrealistic self-talk. In this study Jennifer Rothschild explores the power of self-talk. As she takes us through the things we commonly say to ourselves, she teaches us to practice godly and biblical soul-talk.
This study will be spread over the winter session by having video and discussion every-other week and homework discussion every-other week.
Ensley: Sundays, 5:45 – 7:30pm
S.P.A.C.E. – Colossians
The letter to the Colossian church, written by the Apostle Paul, instructs believers on two important topics: who they are in Christ and how to live out their identity in Christ. Using the inductive study method S.P.A.C.E. students will personally engage with the Word in a way that enables them to hear the Holy Spirit’s personal instruction to them on these important topics. This study includes 15 min. of homework for 5 days each week, live teaching and small group discussion.
