Fall Study 1 – Build Your Team: A Study on Friendship

“Iron sharpens iron
And one man sharpens another.”
(Proverbs 27:17)

Do you have men of iron in your corner who can help shape you to be more like Jesus?

To start Fall 2025, the Men at Magnify will be doing a 4-week series on Friendship. Together, we’ll look to Scripture and each other as we seek to think and behave as good friends who are seeking to be like the Friend of Sinners: Jesus. More than talking about friendship, we will make space to be friends.

This 1st Study of the fall will run from the week of Sept 22 – the week of October 13, 2025.

Fall Study 2 – Fruit of the Spirit

You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. (Matt. 7:16-17)

If we want tires for our truck, we go to a tire store, not a pet store.
If we want apples, we go to an apple tree, not a blueberry bush.
If we want to be men after God’s own heart, we go to God, not ourselves.

This Fall, the Men at Magnify will do a 9-week study on the Fruit of the Spirit.

In it, we’ll dig both deep and wide across Scripture. We’ll learn how God has called His people to live, and what kinds of fruits we can expect of those who abide with Him.

We’ll take time to hear stories from the lives of other men as they reflect on the various aspects of the fruit of the Spirit and how God has pruned them to remove the branches of death and produce the fruit of life.

This study will run from the week of October 20 – the week of December 15, 2025.

Who: All Men at Magnify ages 18+
When: September 15/17 – December 15/17, two weekly options

• Monday nights, 7pm in the Rockford Student Center
• Wednesday mornings, 6am in the Rockford Atrium
