Magnify Summer Preview

March 28 - August 9

Summer may feel like the distant future, but we know you like to plan ahead! As the events begin taking registrations, a link will be available on our website under EVENTS.
Please note the grades listed are the grades students and kids will enter in the fall.


Men at Magnify Summer Connects: Bonfire

We’ll be hanging out around a bonfire, eating snacks, playing yard games and talking about being a Godly Man in 2024. Bring a camp chair, a friend, and if you want, a snack or drink to pass.

Women at Magnify Summer Bonfires and Playdates

Women at Magnify will be hosting bonfires and playdates again this summer. Check back for dates and location for each campus, so you can plan to join us!

1829 Encounter

Join us for an unforgettable week of adventure and connection on beautiful Lake Cumberland in Kentucky! This experience combines the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement as we live on houseboats, explore the lake, and deepen our faith together. Expect plenty of swimming, games, shared meals, and meaningful conversations under the stars. It’s a unique opportunity to grow spiritually, make lifelong friendships, and create memories you’ll always treasure. Don’t miss out!

Life Together

We have two key words: relationship and service. One has an inward focus, with the intent of growing deeper together. The other intention is outward, highlighting the importance of service and engagement with our community at large. Often labeled a favorite trip by our students, this outreach opportunity is a must.

Men at Magnify Summer Connects: Serve Day

Men at Magnify’s Serve Day is a day to come together and help those in need. We’ll meet at the Rockford campus at 9am and break up into groups to serve people in our church family with yard and house work that they are unable to do themselves. We’ll provide team leaders and an assigned project. Please plan to bring tools, your own sack lunch, water bottle, and some elbow grease.

TWAC (Teen Worship Arts Camp)

Teen worship arts camp is a week for students to develop their skills and passion in the creative arts. Classes include guitar lessons, painting, dance, singing, acting, photography, set building, sound, and other creative pursuits. Students will grow not only skill, but also in passion for using their gifts for God. The camp experience culminates with leading worship on Sunday morning and a presentation on Sunday night.

Northview Kids Week

Mosey-on-down to Northview Ranch to join us as we wrangle up a wild western experience for kids entering first grade through fourth grade. We will have 3 action-packed evenings trying out new skills in 3 different break-out classes and a special focus on the life of Joseph.
The Final Roundup will be held at Magnify’s Northview Campus on Sunday, June 29 with an outdoor celebration following the 9am service.

Mosaic

Summer may be a few weeks in, but you haven’t seen anything yet! Join us on an epic, never-been-done-before, one of a kind, adventure getaway. Invite your friends and experience an amazing time getting off the beaten path and diving deeper into your connections with one another and our communal connection to Christ. Don’t hold back, and you’ll broaden your horizons through large group gatherings, team expeditions, and Christ-centered exploration.

Total Impact

Total Impact is a summer mission experience for students entering 8th grade (Fall 2025). We will spend the week learning what it looks like to follow Jesus’ example of humility by looking to the interests of others. Students will have the opportunity to serve widows from our congregation, support our local partners in Grand Rapids, Rockford, and Newaygo, and come together in worship as we grow as a community of servant-hearted brothers and sisters!

Ensley Kids Week

Howdy, Cowpokes! Saddle up your horses at the Ensley Ranch for a 3-Day Wild West adventure through the stories of Joseph and Jesus our Rescuer! Rodeo games, chuck wagon snacks, and barnyard crafts will help us remember and practice what we learn as we become Bible Buckaroos!

Men at Magnify Summer Connects: Whitecaps Game

Let’s enjoy a summer evening together at the ball game! We’ll meet at the Rockford campus to carpool to the Whitecaps game.

KWAC (Kids Worship Arts Camp)

Kids Worship Arts camp is a week for kids to develop and learn how to use their artistic talents for God. Students will spend a week in electives such as painting, crafts, acting, dancing, singing and others. The camp experience culminates with leading worship on Sunday morning and a presentation on Sunday night.

Northview High School Trip (Name TBD)

1829 Alaska Trip

Embark on a transformative mission trip to Tanalian Bible Camp in Port Alsworth, Alaska! This incredible opportunity allows you to serve and build up the Body of Christ by supporting evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and leadership development. You’ll play a vital role in sharing God’s love and helping others grow in their faith while experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Alaska. Join us in making an eternal impact!

StepUP: UP Adventure

Students entering 7th-8th grade will head to Piatt Lake in the Upper Peninsula. This trip is designed to help students learn what it means to “Step UP” and own their faith! To do this, they will participate in team building, outdoor challenges, intense competitions, and much more all while learning what it means to live a faith-filled life in obedience to Jesus!

Men at Magnify Summer Connects: River Trip

Let’s get together and float the river. We’ll use kayaks, canoes, and SUPs (stand-up paddle boards). Bring your own or let us know if you need one and we’ll coordinate to be sure you don’t just have to swim! Lunch will be provided.

Wild Wednesday

2 WILD summer nights for kids entering Grades 3 & 4. Join us for crazy fun, swimming, water games, snacks, friends and learning about our great God. This summer our focus is on the 5 majors; Creation, Fall, Redemption, Church, New Heaven and New Earth.

Praise in the Park

Join us to worship our Creator in the beauty of nature. Come and lift your praise in this gathering with friends and neighbors in the heart of our community! Please bring a lawn chair or blanket.
