Child Dedication Homework
On Dedication Sunday, we will ask you to introduce your family. Then between you and your spouse we will ask you to share a scripture verse you have chosen to pray for your child, and express why you desire to have them dedicated in front of the church. Another way to express this is how can the church walk with you as you raise your child.
Also, please write out a prayer of dedication that you can read to your child on the morning of the dedication. This dedication prayer can be a statement that comes from your personal desires for your child.
