Summer Discussion Guide – Rockford Campus

SMALL GROUP
DISCUSSION GUIDE

Hello, Summer!

As many life groups pull back or pause their meetings for the summer, our team will also be taking a short break from writing regular sermon discussion guides. Here are some questions to consider if you do happen to gather together.

In General:

  • What has God been teaching you lately?
  • What’s one passage of Scripture that’s been on your mind lately?
  • Is there any area in your life that you’re holding back from God?
  • What’s one thing you have been praying about lately?

About the Sermon:

  • Try to summarize the point of last week’s sermon in one sentence. Try to get attempts from at least 2 or 3 people around the group.
  • What is one thing you learned (or were reminded) about what God is like?
  • What is one thing that challenged you and why? If nothing did, why do you think that is?
  • How do you plan to apply what you heard?

Remember: When we get together we always want to open the Bible together, listen to what is going on in each other’s lives, and pray for one another.

See you in the fall!
