The search for our next lead pastor remains active as the Pastoral Search and Congregational Transition teams continue to engage with potential candidates through video conferencing and in-person interviews.
As our discussions continue to broaden with potential candidates it remains imperative that we work with a high degree of professional sensitivity given their current roles and existing relationships.
The Church Board remains committed to unity and identifying the best candidate through a process that requires a deliberate and prayerful approach. At a recent meeting, Deacons and Pastors had the opportunity to move in small groups throughout the Rockford Campus praying earnestly for God’s continued guidance in the search process and the ministries that are about to kick-off for the Fall season at Rockford, Northview, and Ensley.
