God is at Work in the Waiting

Magnify Family Updates - Posted October 22nd, 2025

We trust you are enjoying the Fall season and finding time to enjoy the beauty of creation that surrounds us during the changing of the seasons. We wanted to take this opportunity to keep you informed about where things stand in the search for our next Lead Pastor.

The Congregation Transition Team is actively engaged in the discovery and review process with three highly qualified candidates. As we’ve shared before, this stage takes time and care, requiring a high degree of professional sensitivity given the current ministry roles and relationships of the candidates involved. In addition, we’ve strengthened our process to include greater collaboration with our Lead Team of pastors, allowing for a more unified approach and earlier identification of any potential concerns.

At this time, there’s no set timetable for when a candidate will be presented to the Magnify Church Board for review, and ultimately, for a formal recommendation to our church family.

During this interim period, Steve Welch and Stu Quackenbush are co-leading our staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations and ministries of the church. We’re grateful for their leadership and care during this transition. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to either of them with any questions or concerns as we continue to move forward together.

Most importantly, we ask you to continue praying with us, trusting that God is at work even in the waiting. We remain confident that He will reveal His good and perfect plan for Magnify Church.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
