Dear Magnify Church Family,
We pray that you had a blessed Christmas and that 2025 is starting off well for you. As we move forward, we want to share an update on our search process and celebrate God’s faithfulness to our congregation.
Congregation Transition Team Update
The Team met for the first time this past Sunday and will continue to meet regularly. The Team will provide insight to the board on transition issues as we move forward and serve as members of the Pastoral Search Committee along with members of the board.
The Pastoral Search Committee will:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of our church’s needs and vision
- Develop a list of qualified candidates
- Set up a framework for narrowing the list
- Interview candidates
- Recommend a candidate to the board
We are encouraged by their dedication and careful attention to this important responsibility.
Don’s Ministry Impact
We continue to be blessed by Don Denyes’ teaching ministry. His commitment to Biblical exposition and pastoral wisdom have been a gift to church family during this season. We’re particularly grateful for how he’s helping us maintain our focus on Christ and His Word.
Prayer Focus
Please continue to pray for:
- Our Congregation Transition Team, that their “love would abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight (Phil 1:9)”
- God’s guidance in identifying potential candidates
- Don Denyes’ ongoing ministry among us
- Our church family’s continued effectiveness in our mission of always making disciples, now and in the days to come
Thank you for your continued faithfulness and prayers during this season. We’re grateful for how our church family continues to demonstrate love for God and one another. We continue to trust in the faithful love of our God.
