DESCRIPTION:We love coming alongside families as kids grow in faith\, friendship\, and fun\, and Awana is one of the best ways we get to do that. Each week\, kids will dive into Scripture in both Large and Small Group settings\, sing together\, play high-energy games in the gym\, and build meaningful connections with leaders and friends. DESCRIPTION:At Magnify\, we believe we were never meant to follow Jesus alone. We grow best when we’re living in community\, building meaningful relationships\, and doing life together. \nYoung families (with or without kids) are invited to join us following the first service for about 30 minutes to catch up with families you know and connect with families you haven’t met yet! It’s a great opportunity for kids to run around\, have fun\, and enjoy a light snack while parents build friendships. No registration is needed\, just come and enjoy the community! \nWhile this gathering is designed with young families in mind\, if you’re in a different stage of life\, for example\, a grandparent\, we’d love for you to join us too! DESCRIPTION:We want to celebrate and support families as they raise their children. We believe parents are the greatest influence in a child’s life and are uniquely positioned to help them know and love God. At the same time\, we believe the church has a vital role to play in coming alongside families to pray\, encourage\, and equip them as they lead their homes with faith and purpose. \nJoin us for a special time of preparation\, prayer\, and public commitment as you dedicate your children to the Lord. This will also be a meaningful moment for our church family to commit to praying for you\, walking with you\, and supporting your family as you raise children who love and serve God. \nWho: Families with babies or young children\nWhen: November 8\nWhere: Magnify Ensley Student Center & Sanctuary\nCost: None\nContact: Tiffany Steinmann \nThere are 3 parts to participating in the Ensley Child Dedication Celebration. \n\n\n\nPrepare: Before signing up\, please listen to this Podcast and look over this Preparation Form to help you prepare for the Child Dedication Celebration. Both things will help you to intentionally parent with the end in mind. Please complete the Preparing for Dedication Form before the dedication.\nRegister\nThe Celebration: We will meet before the service downstairs in the Student Center to pray and talk through the dedication.\n\n\n\n\nHere is what you can expect the dedication to be like:  \nTiffany will invite families to come up front and will give an overview of the purpose of dedication. She will ask each family to share their prayer of dedication. After all of the families have shared\, there will be a time of prayer. \nCommon Questions \n\nWhere do we go?\nPlease come to the Ensley Student Center at 8:30am on November 8 for a time together as we prepare for the Dedication happening during the service that morning.\nWhat do I do if my child cries?\nWe love this question! We expect there will be some crying! Every parent in the room completely understands. This event is designed to include your wiggly child\, so don’t worry.\nHow long does it last?\nFirst service will require you to attend from 8:50 to 9:30am.  At that time you are welcome to stay or you may consider taking your child to regular children’s Sunday programming.          \nDo I really have to do the prep work?\nYes\, but don’t be intimidated. The podcast is brief and helpful. The written portion will prepare you for Sunday morning. You will be led through sharing this during the service.\nIs there an age limit?\nNo\, we are willing to celebrate your young children of any age with you.\nIs this the same as infant baptism?\nThis event is not infant baptism. We believe that when people are old enough to understand what it means to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior\, they should have the opportunity to make that choice for themselves. This event is about your commitment as a parent to lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ so that as your child gets older\, you are able to guide them and to help them understand what that means.
