This isn’t about having all the right answers or checking all the spiritual boxes. It’s about allowing Jesus to transform our hearts\, our relationships\, our priorities\, and the way we walk through both the ordinary and the difficult moments of life. Together we’ll laugh\, learn\, ask honest questions\, and encourage one another as we explore what it means to follow Jesus with authenticity and grace. \nBible studies that are being offered this semester:\n \nIn View of God’s Mercy by Courtney Doctor\nIn this 9-session study\, walk through the book of Romans to discover that salvation doesn’t just change your eternal future; it changes your present reality. Because of God’s salvation\, hope\, peace\, life\, faith\, trust\, and endurance are yours.\nLearn that after God saves you\, He invites you to join Him on His two-fold mission to sanctify and transform you into the image of Jesus and to send you out into the world to share the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.\nNew! Book of Romans-Filament Journal: We found an awesome resource to go along with this study\, and we’re excited to share it with you! This Bible/journal pairs with an app that allows you to scan any page and access helpful commentaries\, videos\, and additional resources related to the specific passage you’re studying. It’s a great way to dig a little deeper and get even more out of your time in God’s Word!\nIf this sounds like something you’d enjoy\, you can add it to your study registration for just an additional $5. We hope this resource will be a helpful and encouraging part of your study this fall!\nAvailable at Northview\, Ensley\, & Rockford \nEveryday Theology by Mary Wiley\nIn this 9-session study\, explore the essential doctrines of Scripture\, God\, Jesus\, the Holy Spirit\, humanity\, salvation\, the church\, and the end times to know God more deeply through these foundational truths. This would be a great study for anyone who has questions about our faith\, would like a refresher\, or may be new and would like to add to their foundational understanding. This is a great overview.\nAvailable at Northview\, Ensley\, & Rockford \nWelcoming The Stranger: Discovering and Living God’s Heart for Immigrants and Refugees by Matthew Sorens & Jenny Yang\nLed by Carol Gates (Church Nurse) and Diana Hill\nThis study was created by World Relief to help us move towards action as an expression of our Christian faith. It will be an experiential opportunity\, a chance to explore one of the most complex issues of our day from a biblical perspective and to live out the calling God has given His church.\nAvailable at Northview on Thursday Morning Only \nRegardless of the campus you usually attend\, please find a Bible study and time that works for you. You are welcome at any campus at any time! Please see the specific campus tabs for specific study times. \nWho: All Women at Magnify\nWhen: September 13th – November 26 (varied end dates due to campus functions)\nWhere: Northview\, Ensley\, & Rockford Campuses\nCost: $25\nContact: Kayla Adamson or Darcia Black[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” column_margin=”default” column_direction=”default” column_direction_tablet=”default” column_direction_phone=”default” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” row_border_radius=”none” row_border_radius_applies=”bg” overflow=”visible” overlay_strength=”0.3″ gradient_direction=”left_to_right” shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none” gradient_type=”default” shape_type=””][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_tablet=”inherit” column_padding_phone=”inherit” column_padding_position=”all” column_element_direction_desktop=”default” column_element_spacing=”default” desktop_text_alignment=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_backdrop_filter=”none” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” column_position=”default” gradient_direction=”left_to_right” overlay_strength=”0.3″ width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” animation_type=”default” bg_image_animation=”none” border_type=”simple” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][tabbed_section style=”vertical_modern” tab_color=”Accent-Color” vs_content_animation=”fade” vs_link_animation=”opacity” vs_navigation_alignment=”left” vs_navigation_width_2=”25%” vs_navigation_func=”default” vs_navigation_width=”regular” vs_navigation_spacing=”15px” vs_navigation_mobile_display=”visible” vs_tab_spacing=”5%”][tab icon_family=”none” title=”Rockford” id=”1786565374420-6″ tab_id=”1786565374421-4″][vc_column_text]Studies and Times Offered at Rockford \nSunday: 6-7pm (childcare offered Birth-4th Grade during the Sunday Night session) \n\nIn View of God’s Mercies\n\n\nEveryday Theology\n\nTuesday: 9:30-11:30am (childcare offered)  \n\nIn View of God’s Mercies \n\n\nEveryday Theology\n\n\n*Moms at Magnify: In View of God’s Mercies  (see Moms at Magnify description below)\n\n\n*Moms at Magnify: Everyday Theology (see Moms at Magnify description below)\n\nThursday: 5:30-7pm Young Adults Group \n\nEveryday Theology\n\nThursday: 6:30-8pm Multigenerational Adult Group (any woman-any age) \n\nIn View Of God’s Mercies\n\n*Moms At Magnify\nJoin a group of mamas in similar life stages with the same goals in mind: raising our kids in a loving home to know our Father and diving deeper into His word. SUMMARY:Family Connect - Northview
DESCRIPTION:At Magnify\, we believe we were never meant to follow Jesus alone. We grow best when we’re living in community\, building meaningful relationships\, and doing life together. \nYoung families (with or without kids) are invited to join us following the first service for about 30 minutes to catch up with families you know and connect with families you haven’t met yet! It’s a great opportunity for kids to run around\, have fun\, and enjoy a light snack while parents build friendships. No registration is needed\, just come and enjoy the community! \nWhile this gathering is designed with young families in mind\, if you’re in a different stage of life\, for example\, a grandparent\, we’d love for you to join us too! One of the greatest gifts of the church is the opportunity for different generations to encourage one another and do life together. \nWho:  Everyone who wants to connect\nWhen:  Between services the first Sunday of the month \nWhere:  Northview Student Center\nContact:  Kristen Hinkle

SUMMARY:Child Dedication - Ensley
DESCRIPTION:We want to celebrate and support families as they raise their children. We believe parents are the greatest influence in a child’s life and are uniquely positioned to help them know and love God. At the same time\, we believe the church has a vital role to play in coming alongside families to pray\, encourage\, and equip them as they lead their homes with faith and purpose. \nJoin us for a special time of preparation\, prayer\, and public commitment as you dedicate your children to the Lord. This will also be a meaningful moment for our church family to commit to praying for you\, walking with you\, and supporting your family as you raise children who love and serve God. \nWho: Families with babies or young children\nWhen: November 8\nWhere: Magnify Ensley Student Center & Sanctuary\nCost: None\nContact: Tiffany Steinmann \nThere are 3 parts to participating in the Ensley Child Dedication Celebration. \n\n\n\nPrepare: Before signing up\, please listen to this Podcast and look over this Preparation Form to help you prepare for the Child Dedication Celebration. Both things will help you to intentionally parent with the end in mind. Please complete the Preparing for Dedication Form before the dedication.\nRegister\nThe Celebration: We will meet before the service downstairs in the Student Center to pray and talk through the dedication.\n\n\n\n\nHere is what you can expect the dedication to be like:  \nTiffany will invite families to come up front and will give an overview of the purpose of dedication. She will ask each family to share their prayer of dedication. After all of the families have shared\, there will be a time of prayer. \nCommon Questions \n\nWhere do we go?\nPlease come to the Ensley Student Center at 8:30am on November 8 for a time together as we prepare for the Dedication happening during the service that morning.\nWhat do I do if my child cries?\nWe love this question! We expect there will be some crying! Every parent in the room completely understands. This event is designed to include your wiggly child\, so don’t worry.\nHow long does it last?\nFirst service will require you to attend from 8:50 to 9:30am.  At that time you are welcome to stay or you may consider taking your child to regular children’s Sunday programming.          \nDo I really have to do the prep work?\nYes\, but don’t be intimidated. The podcast is brief and helpful. The written portion will prepare you for Sunday morning. You will be led through sharing this during the service.\nIs there an age limit?\nNo\, we are willing to celebrate your young children of any age with you.\nIs this the same as infant baptism?\nThis event is not infant baptism. We believe that when people are old enough to understand what it means to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior\, they should have the opportunity to make that choice for themselves. This event is about your commitment as a parent to lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ so that as your child gets older\, you are able to guide them and to help them understand what that means.

SUMMARY:Family Connect - Rockford
One of the greatest gifts of the church is the opportunity for different generations to encourage one another and do life together.\n \nWho: Young families \nWhen: Between services on Sunday\, September 20 & November 15 \nWhere: Rockford Gym\nContact: Sam Hulet or Amber Chase \n
