We’ve certainly learned to be flexible with a year like 2020, but as you plan your 2021 summer schedule, we hope these dates will be helpful to you. As the events begin taking registration, a link will be available on our website under EVENTS. Please note the grades listed are the grades students and kids will enter in the fall of 2021.

Bare Soles
June 13-17, Grades 9-12

Through teaching, worship, mentoring, and small group discussions, you will have the opportunity for a life-changing experience as you get to know the God who made you and loves you

Teen Worship Arts Camp (TWAC)
June 21-27, Grades 7-12

Teen Worship Arts Camp is a week for students to develop their skills and passion in the creative arts

Total Impact
June 27-July 2, Grade 8

A summer mission experience for students entering grade 8. Stretch your faith and make a difference in our community of Grand Rapids and surrounding area. The event involves team building, work projects, worship and learning how to serve others.


Wild Wednesday
July 7, 21, 28, Grade 3,4,5

3 WILD summer nights for kids with crazy fun, food and friends. This summer our focus will be on the Double Love Command: Loving God and Loving others.

July 12-18, Grades 4-6

A week for kids entering grades 4-6 to develop and learn how to use their artistic talents for God.

Life Together
July 5-10, Grade 11 & 12

A life changing trip as we focus on serving, community and worldview.

Alaska Mission Trip
July 16-30, Open to any 1829 ministry young adult

We are partnering with Tanalian Bible Camp to provide counselors, cooks, maintenance volunteers to Alaskan Middle School students.

Ensley Kids
Week- July 5-9, Grades K-6

A week for kids to come and have a blast learning that Jesus is our forever faithful, loving, caring, promise-keeping Lord, who has been and always will be with us.

UP Adventure
July 24-July 31, Grades 7-8

An outdoor adventure for middle school students. Hiking, swimming, canoeing, biking and campfires in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. With friends beside them and awesome volunteers to lead them, students will be in the perfect environment for life-change. They will be stretched to face their fear, safe to explore & grow in faith.


August 1-5, Open to any 1829 ministry young adults

A houseboat excursion in Tennessee. Join your 1829 family for good times—encounter deepening relationships, renewal, and the celebration of our Creator!
